The biggest news in the Honda world is out!
Honda is now offering a 6-year warranty period on selected motorcycles in the road motorcycle range.
How does it work?
From the 1st of May 2026, the purchase of your new Honda Motorcycle now comes with a standard warranty of 3 years, up from the existing 2 years automatically, but when you have and continue to service your Honda Motorcycle within the Honda Australian dealer network according to the maintenance schedule of your model using Genuine Honda parts and lubricants, up to another 3 years of additional warranty is provided by Honda on your motorcycle for complete peace of mind with Australia's #1 selling 2 wheel brand!
What if I purchased my Honda Motorcycle before 01/05/2026?
Great News! Honda has back dated the start date for the updated 6-year warranty program to the 1st of July 2025!
So, if you purchased your motorcycle after this date and is an applicable model, it is included.
This gives you plenty of time to ensure your motorcycle meets the minimum criteria for the additional 3 years of warranty!
Warranty Criteria
To be eligible for the service activated period, customers must meet the below minimum criteria:
1. Service with Honda: All scheduled servicing must be completed at an
authorised Honda Motorcycle dealer.
2. Use Honda Genuine: Servicing must use genuine parts and lubricants.
3. Stick to the servicing schedule: The motorcycle must be serviced in
accordance with the products service schedule at a minimum.
