The new exclusive design by Ducati turns this new Battery Charger into an Italian-style premium product, differentiating itself from the previous version for Lead-Acid batteries.
The device was designed to increase the useful life of Lithium-Ion batteries. In fact, when the bike is not used for prolonged periods, the battery progressively discharges and, even if Lithium-Ion Batteries have a longer and slower self-discharge period compared to lead-acid, Lithium-Ion Batteries have significantly higher discharge limit, below which they can no longer be recovered.
To avoid jeopardising proper operation of Lithium-Ion Batteries, it is therefore necessary to use the New Ducati Battery Charger Lithium to ensure that your Ducati is ready to start at any time, even after a long period of inactivity, and not to irreparably damage the Lithium-Ion Battery.
