Thanks to the five Riding Modes, the new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak adapts to any riding style and condition. Exclusive to this Multistrada model, Race Riding Mode offers a dedicated configuration for limitless performance, elevating the sports riding experience to new levels.
Race Riding Mode
In this riding mode, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak maximises engine and chassis performance, unleashing the full 170 hp of the V4 Granturismo engine and all the advantages of the Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension. Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Wheelie Control intervention is reduced to a minimum and the Cornering ABS is set to level 2, allowing for controlled lifting of the rear wheel so as to fully exploit the braking phase, even on the racetrack.
Sport Riding Mode
With this Riding Mode, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak delivers maximum power (170 hp) with a particularly reactive throttle response and a sporty suspension set-up. Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Wheelie Control intervention is slightly more conservative with respect to Race mode, while ABS is set to level 2, allowing for controlled lifting of the rear wheel so as to maximise braking performance.
Touring Riding Mode
In Touring Riding Mode, the throttle response and power delivery from the V4 Granturismo engine are smoother and more progressive. The ABS is set to level 3, perfect for touring, which gives the rider a real sense of safety thanks to rear-wheel lift detection, Cornering ABS functionality, and an optimised front/rear combined braking effect. The suspension setting ensures both support and comfort, limiting rider and passenger fatigue over long distances.
Urban Riding Mode
In Urban Riding Mode power output is reduced to a maximum of 115 hp and the suspension setting ensures the right agility when confronted with urban obstacles such as speed bumps and manhole covers. DTC and DWC are set to high levels for maximum safety in all possible road conditions, while the ABS is set to level 3.
New Wet Riding Mode
The new Wet Riding Mode is designed for riding on low grip surfaces and particularly in the wet. This mode limits maximum power to 115 hp with a particularly gentle throttle response (Low Power Mode). The predefined level of the electronic controls is set to offer maximum stability and optimum grip.
