With the V4 and V4 S models, together with the more exclusive and performing V4 SP2, Ducati continues in the application and evolution of the winning "Fight Formula" to remain at the top of the segment with an unrivalled level of equipment and power/weight ratio (for the "SP2" version).
AERODYNAMICS
Streetfighter V4 is an even sportier and more dynamic, pushing the Fight Formula concepts even further forward. More exciting in aesthetics, more thrilling to ride and even lighter.
To ensure maximum stability both at high speeds and when braking and a lower tendency to wheelie during acceleration, limiting as much as possible the interventions on the chassis so as to have a nimble and quick behaviour in mixed conditions, wings have been developed for the Streetfighter V4 in biplane configuration designed by Ducati Corse specialists in collaboration with the Centro Stile Ducati.
The aerodynamic development was carried out entirely with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations using a calculation method that involves stationary simulations of the motion and pressure fields with the aim of increasing the vertical force on the vehicle, in particular on the front wheel.
DESIGN
Its aggressive and minimalist aesthetic features a front inspired by the Joker of the comics, the Streetfighter V4 immediately entered the hearts of enthusiasts.
ELECTRONICS
The electronics package is richer and more effective with new engine delivery curves differentiated gear by gear, Wet Riding Mode, and new Track Evo display for the TFT dashboard.
CHASSIS AND ERGONOMICS
The chassis layout includes Front Frame and single-sided aluminium swingarm. The new shape of the tank gives more support to the rider when braking and running.
ENGINE
The 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale, has been revised in calibration to match the larger diameter of the silencer outlet, introduced in order to reduce the exhaust back pressure.
