The sturdy steel frame is strong and designed to survive in the real world of rough pavement or off-road trails, while the engine is mounted high in the frame, which allows for generous ground clearance.

The CRF300L features front 256mm and rear 220mm hydraulic discs with wave pattern for excellent stopping power and brake feel, both for on- and off-road use. Two channel anti-lock brakes (ABS^D9) are standard. You can switch off the rear wheel ABS^D9 when dirt riding, then back on when you are on the street.
